After dropping your iPhone screen face down, you pick it up, flip it over, and much to your dismay, the screen is completely shattered. if you're a bootstrapping ASU student, this can mean carrying around a broken iPhone for months, and even cutting your hands, face and ears on your once beautiful iPhone.
We decided a good way to help out ASU students with their iPhone woes while at the same time finding out which iPhone repair shops were worth their weight in salt: We hung flyers for people with broken iPhone screens advertising discounted iPhone repairs if they would participate in an experiment that determines the quality of many iphone repair shops in the area.
The three factors that determined how well a phone repair shop ranked were: timeliness, quality of workmanship and price. Out of the 10 iphone repair stores tested, two came out on top, achieving 10/10 in all three areas:
iPhone Repair by All Mobile Matters
We stopped by the Tempe Marketplace All Mobile Matters location, just a short trip from Phoenix and ASU to drop off one of cracked iPhones. We were met with courtesy and clear concise information on price, how long the repair would take, and even a few details about how they actually repair the iPhone.
In just shy of 40 minutes they completely repaired our iPhone 4S screen and even gave us a discount.
iPhone Repair Phoenix
iPhone Repair Phoenix is another location in Chandler, AZ owned by All Mobile Matters. We were met with the same courtesy and level of repair service as with the Tempe location. Even though they were very busy, they were still able to repair our iPhone 4 in an hour, and were even running a special on iPhone repairs that day, so we got our iPhone fixed for even less than the Tempe Location.
